Millions of dreams have come true today with the official announcement of the Verizon iPhone. Years of speculation culminated in today’s announcement that Verizon will be the second carrier to support the iPhone 4, the iPhone will be available for sale February 10, but pre-orders begin February 3, just in time for Valentines. Price remains the same as it is on AT&T, $200 for the 16GB model and $300 for the 32GB model.
Unlike it’s 3G counterpart, the Verizon phone will sport a CDMA antenna and will allow users to connect up to 5 devices to the iPhone’s Wi-Fi hotspot. Despite these two differences the phones are identical. Although rumored to be debuted with the Verizon iPhone, LTE will have to wait until the next version.
Now that you have the option to change carriers, will you?
