Google Finally Releases Google Reader App for Android

If you’re an Android user and love to remain updated on your favorite websites then you’ve probably found yourself wishing that Google had its own Google Reader App. Today, the wait is over. The new Google Reader app allows you to view your favorite feeds without having to visit the browser.

You can share items via Facebook, Twitter, Voice, and of course Buzz. You can also tap the Like button with the number of likes for a particular item being displayed below the title. Navigation is pretty easy and users can add to favorite, add notes, and share via Google Reader.

One of the more unique features found in this app is the ability to access multiple Google Reader account simultaneously, which works great if you share your feeds with others. I’m still a huge fan of Mobile RSS for iOS devices, but I would still love to see this app appear in iOS, along with a Gmail app for iPhones…
