Last week Job’s announced the availability of 99 cent TV shows when he unveiled the new Apple TV. He also promised the availability of those same TV shows at the same price on the iPhone via the iTunes store. This week alongside the release of iOS 4.1 for the iPhone, Apple will allow iPhone users to watch TV shows at the new low price. So head on over to the iTunes store on your iPhone and catch up on the latest episodes from your favorite ABC or Fox TV show.
Note: An iPhone running iOS 4.1 was used for this guide.
1. Open iTunes and find your favorite ABC/Fox TV show and tap on it.
2. When the Episode information page opens, tap on the Rent button. You will notice that all TV rentals are now 99 cents.
Hopefully Apple will be able to sway more networks into offering the lower pricing for their content.
