Palm has announced the release of the Treo 755 available to Sprint customers. The phone which would eventually replace the 700p has been redesigned to a smaller form factor as which includes the removal of the attenna. The design on this phone is pretty much like Cingular’s 750 smartphone, but uses EVDO instead. The phone is approximately 2.3" W x 4.4" L x 0.84" D, weighing in at 5.64 ounces, which makes it .06 inches thinner and close to an ounce lighter than its predecessor, the 700p (2.3" W x 4.4" H (excluding antenna) x 0.9" D, 6.4 ounces).
The phone is currently available from Sprint for $279.99 after a 2 year subscription with the wireless provider.
