Last week Google launched an update to Google Maps for Android devices. The latest update brings a new design for Place page reviews, more options to filter search results, and a Google Latitude real-time updating option. Check out the latest version of Google Maps in action so that you can become familiar with the new features.

More Options to Filter Search Results
Filter search results
You can now filter search results based on Place page reviews, open now (if the location is open, based on store hours), neighborhood, and related searches. This is in addition to reviews and distance which will continue to be available.
Improved Places Page Design
You will also notice that when click on a place in Google Maps you will be able to see a miniaturized version of the content available in Google Maps on your computer.
You will see Reviews from around the web and Reviews from Google users which pulls reviews from websites like Yelp, Google user reviews, and more.
