We took a short break from our Trip Around the World wallpapers to celebrate Halloween. This week we are back on the road and heading over to a city that sits on two continents; Istanbul, Turkey. It served as the capital of the Byzantine empire and the Ottoman empire in the classical and Roman empires and it is now a megacity that is home to 12.8 million residents and home to a rich cultural history. Each photograph has a download link that will take you to the respective Flickr page so that you can download the size that best fits your screen. Make sure to follow these instructions to change your computer’s wallpaper.
