We took a short break from our Trip Around the World wallpapers to celebrate Halloween. This week we are back on the road and heading over to a city that sits on two continents; Istanbul, Turkey. It served as the capital of the Byzantine empire and the Ottoman empire in the classical and Roman empires and it is now a megacity that is home to 12.8 million residents and home to a rich cultural history. Each photograph has a download link that will take you to the respective Flickr page so that you can download the size that best fits your screen.
